DFG Vice-President and Co-Publisher Darryl Andrews has confirmed that the Super-Scientific Nepto Sub has been penned into the purposed story for Captain Nepto Prime #2. Mr. Andrews commented, "In the flavour of the new series [which takes place generally after Spy-Comics series 2 #3], I wanted to add all the fun elements of the series that were under-developed or postponed until the revenge story arc was settled. Of course, the series never was finished and many of these elements were lost."

Captain Nepto Prime #1 is expected to be finished before the Summer.
